Hey all! This is one of my favorite slow cooker recipes. It’s so easy and so versatile. You can add different herbs or veggies if you like. You can add different spices. And it’s a super easy way to make dinner or to have some cooked chicken prepped and ready for lunches or dinners later in the week.   • 1 Whole Chicken
  • 1 Onion, diced
  • 2 tsp Smoked Paprika
  • 2 tsp Salt
  • 2 tsp Onion Powder
  • 2 tsp Garlic Powder
  • 1 tsp Ground Mustard
  • 1/2 tsp Black Pepper
  • 1/2 tsp Cayenne
  • 2 sprigs fresh Rosemary, lightly chopped
  • 2 sprigs fresh Thyme, lightly chopped


Step 1

Place onion in the bottom of your slow cooker.

Step 2

Mix all your spices together in a bowl. Remove any gizzards from your chicken. Rub your chicken, inside and out with your spice mixture.

Step 3

Place your chicken on top of the onion in your slow cooker. Cover and let cook on high for 4-5hrs. It'll be fall off the bone tender!!!
